 Dekhon International Packages:

A major hurdle that we face as we begin to address blindness, apart from the medical care facilities, is the cost of service. Aside from proximity to eye-facilities, the inability to afford treatment is the major factor affecting rural care.

Donations of any kind can go a long way, aiding in anything from structural development to individual eye treatment. Dekhon offers donation packages, which show just how far your contribution can go towards changing a life:


Packages:

  One free consultation for a non-paying patient.
$ 5
 		 Covers 1 check-up, and pays for any needed medication, for a non-paying patient.
$ 20
 		 Subsidizes spectacles for 5 non-paying patients.
$ 50
 		 Sponsors 1 cataract surgery for a non-paying patient, including transport, overnight stay, and post-operative drugs, in yours or a loved one's name.
$ 100
 		 Sets up an eye-camp in a rural area, providing free screening for villages of up to 100 and spreading eye-care awareness.
$ 200
 		 Facilitates an entire day of outpatient services including check-ups and medications.
$ 500
 		 Sponsors 2 cataract surgeries a year for 5 years on any date of your choice, in your name or in the name of a loved one.
$ 1,000
 		 Purchases one cataract surgery instrument set, which can be used to treat hundreds of surgery patients!
$ 10,000
 		 Aids in the setup of a patient checkup area, or examination room.
